This role is designed for a huntera dynamic sales professional who thrives on identifying new customers generating fresh business opportunities and contributing directly to Maersks commercial growth. You will be responsible for building a strong pipeline engaging prospects and closing opportunities that support our DTS business strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate new business through lead identification cold calling networking referrals and market research

  • Manage and grow relationships with existing and prospective customers

  • Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate products or services

  • Achieve monthly quarterly and annual sales targets

  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations proposals and quotations

  • Negotiate pricing contracts and successfully close sales deals

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in SFDC systems

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery

  • Monitor market trends competitor activities and provide market insights

  • Ensure timely payment collection and address customer issues effectively.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

A resultsdriven sales professional with:

  • 35 years of sales experience preferably in a B2B environment.

  • Proven experience as a hunter focused on new business generation.

  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation capabilities.

  • Experience in logistics supply chain or freight forwarding (advantage not mandatory).

  • Ability to work independently manage a busy pipeline and deliver against sales targets.

  • Excellent communication and relationshipbuilding skills.

  • Salesforce (SFDC) experience is a plus.

  • A valid drivers license.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Requirement: Matric (Grade 12).

  • Bonus / Preferred: A Diploma or Degree in Sales Marketing Business Logistics or a related field.
