Job Summary

SYSTRA Canada is an engineering and consulting firm whose primary focus is to offer transportation solutions whether for passengers or goods: feasibility studies of building a new railway line increasing the capacity of the existing infrastructure privatization of a railway.

Context

Systra is looking for an Environmental Coordinator to join the growing team in Ontario.

Missions/Main Duties

Support the Environmental Lead in implementing environmental requirements across project design and delivery;
assist with preparation and review of environmental documentation and drawings;
track environmental commitments and mitigation measures;
coordinate with design and construction teams to address environmental issues;
contribute to environmental reporting and communication with stakeholders as directed.

Profile/Skills

Degree or diploma in Environmental Science Environmental Technology or related field;
5 years experience supporting environmental management on construction or infrastructure projects;
understanding of environmental mitigation and monitoring.
Environmental certifications (e.g. EPt ECO Canada credentials) considered an asset.
