Job Purpose and Impact
As the Technical Application Specialist focusing on dairy you will design and carry out lab trials within various dairy application making use of all Cargill products; youll also support interactions with clients and prospective customers within SEA and ANZ to help them understand how the company can provide solutions to address their this role you will assist to ensure new technologies and tools are utilized to provide competitive customer focused solutions.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead various customer projects related to neutral dairy / plant based beverages / acidified dairy to support and grow Cargill business
- Provide solutions/technical advice with Cargill products such as hydrocolloids functional systems plant protein sweeteners oil& fats cocoa powders and enrichment ingredients.
- Knowledge on ingredients and processing around dairy category.
- On time and detailed data uploading.
- Through customer engagement establish and cultivate effective partnerships with customers to maintain existing business and gain new ones.
- Assist with commercial prospecting and anticipate technological developments.
- Support sales efforts to understand and solve basic customer issues following established process.
- Support proactive new concept development take into consideration of food safety product stability sensory and regulatory landscape.
- Together with other team members be responsible for maintenance of lab equipment.
- Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in food science or food technology or equivalent experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in dairy related R&D or application roles.
