Job Summary
Key job responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to understand strategic priorities and translate them into financial analyses that support decision-making around monetization engagement and subscription strategies
- Develop and maintain financial models and analytical tools that enable scenario planning forecasting and evaluation of new business opportunities
- Lead forecasting cycles for the Appstore organization analyze variances between forecasts and actual results and communicate insights to finance and business leadership
- Create and monitor financial and operating performance metrics that track progress toward business goals and highlight risks and opportunities
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses on emerging business questions and present findings and recommendations to senior management
A day in the life
As a Senior Financial Analyst on the Appstore Finance Team youll be at the intersection of finance and business strategy. Your day might include building sophisticated financial models to evaluate new monetization opportunities diving deep into performance data to uncover trends that inform product decisions or presenting key findings to senior leadership that shape our strategic direction. Youll collaborate with product marketing and engineering teams across multiple geographies to ensure financial insights are woven into every major initiative. Beyond the numbers youll help establish processes and dashboards that empower business leaders to track progress toward goals and identify new opportunities for growth.

We are a collaborative finance team dedicated to supporting the Appstore organization as it continues to innovate and scale. Our mission is to provide clear data-driven insights that help our business partners make informed decisions about customer engagement monetization and product strategy. We work closely with teams across the companyfrom product development to customer experienceto understand their challenges and translate financial analysis into strategic guidance. - 3 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
- 4 years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 4 years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 4 years of identifying leading and executing opportunities to improve automate standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
- Bachelors degree in engineering statistics or business or Bachelors degree and 5 years of quantitative role (engineering process re-engineering quality assurance) experience
- 4 years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA or CPA
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
