Job Summary:
Were looking for a Systems Administrator (Security Focus) to join our ICT Operations team and help keep our platforms secure stable and performing at their best. This is a hands-on role where youll work across enterprise infrastructure cloud platforms and security remediation perfect for someone who enjoys solving problems and wants to grow their security capability in a complex regulated environment.Youll be part of a team supporting high-volume trading systems SaaS applications and corporate environments with real exposure to modern cloud and security tooling.
Responsibilities:
Supporting the day-to-day operation of enterprise infrastructure platforms including incident response change execution and maintenance activities
Deploying maintaining and securing systems in line with internal standards and regulatory requirements
Performing patching vulnerability remediation and system hardening activities
Providing Level 2 support for infrastructure and security-related incidents and service requests
Assisting with root cause analysis post-incident reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
Monitoring systems responding to alerts and supporting system stability capacity and performance
Maintaining accurate documentation runbooks and security remediation evidence
Working closely with developers support teams and vendors as an escalation point for complex issues
Be part of an on-call Roster shared across the team
Requirements:
Experience in an IT Operations or Infrastructure Support role (typically 25 years)
Strong foundational knowledge across enterprise IT technologies with an interest in security
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS Azure GCP and Microsoft 365
Experience supporting Windows Server environments Active Directory and virtualised platforms
Familiarity with patching vulnerability remediation and monitoring tools
Basic scripting skills or a willingness to learn (PowerShell Bash or Python)
A customer-focused mindset and the ability to communicate technical issues clearly
Strong organisational skills and a collaborative team-first approach
