Lead DS Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee all technical aspects of the Task Order (TO).
• Serve as the main point of contact (POC) for all DS/ISP/OSP issues related to this TO.
• Utilize a strong technical background to understand USG technical requirements and communicate effectively with the PMO.
• Collaborate closely with the PMO and specified personnel to facilitate planning and ensure timely accomplishment of critical objectives.
• Manage all Subcontractor interface requirements in coordination with the Contractors PM.
• Notify the PMO and the Contractors PM immediately of any problems or issues affecting project timelines or deliverables.
• Approve all engineering documents before submission to the USG including Site Preparation Requirements and Installation Plan (SPRIP) Telecommunication Systems Installation Plan (TSIP) Preliminary Integration Review (PIR) Critical Integration Review (CIR) and Integration Plan Acceptance (IPA) documents.
• Possess experience with designing configuring and troubleshooting ISP/OSP distribution systems (fiber and copper cables and infrastructure).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Five (5) years of experience in relative field
• Advanced knowledge of ISP/OSP systems and infrastructure
• Proven team leadership and collaboration skills
• Expertise in conducting technical reviews
• Proficiency in project management and execution
• Strong design expertise in infrastructure development
• Familiarity with documentation standards and best practices
• Experience in BOM development and management
• Must have an active Secret clearance

CERTIFICATIONS

• RCDD or equivalent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with DoDnetworks.
• Proficiencyin budget management and financial oversight
• Expertisein training development and delivery
