About The Position:

ICBC is seeking a detailoriented and analytical Employee Relations Analyst to support the Employee Relations (ER) team through data analysis research and operational ER support. This role plays an important part in enabling effective grievance administration collective agreement processes ER reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Position Requirements:

Reporting to the Manager Employee Relations the successful candidate will:

  • Provide analytical and administrative support related to the application and administration of collective agreements grievances and arbitration matters
  • Prepare review and maintain confidential ER documentation including grievance materials investigation correspondence discipline letters and denial letters
  • Coordinate ER administration including tracking and processing union leave of absence requests
  • Support collective bargaining activities through research document preparation notetaking and organization of bargaining materials
  • Conduct research to support issue resolution including analysis of past practice policy interpretation and legislative or regulatory requirements
  • Collect organize and analyze ER data (e.g. case types timelines outcomes trends) to identify insights and support operational planning
  • Develop dashboards summaries and reports to support ER decisionmaking workload forecasting and risk monitoring
  • Act as a key resource for ER tracking tools and systems ensuring data accuracy consistent data entry practices and user guidance
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and supporting the development of standardized workflows templates and process documentation
  • Maintain accurate and complete ER case records and ensure timely followup to support consistent and compliant ER practices

What You Bring:

  • Experience in an analytical administrative or coordination role within ICBC or a comparable complex organization
  • Strong analytical skills including experience working with data spreadsheets dashboards and reporting tools (Excel proficiency is an asset)
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy particularly when handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear professional correspondence and summaries
  • Proven research and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret information and identify trends
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Sound judgment discretion and professionalism

Work arrangements defined:

  • Hybrid 8 you will work a minimum of 8 days in a 4-week period at your primary office headquarters (typically 2 days per week). The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia.
