PE-Backed Construction Platform North York (Relocating to Mississauga Q1 2027)
The package
- $90000 to $100000 base with room to $110000 for the right person
- 5 to 10% performance bonus

- Five days in office in North York relocating to Mississauga in Q1 next year
Some FP and amp;A roles ask you to maintain whats already there. This one asks you to build what doesnt exist yet.
This is a newly created seat at a fast-growing PE-backed construction company where the finance function is being built by people who actually care about doing it right. The Finance Manager who joined 11 months ago is already on track for Director. The CFO is engaged and visible. Leadership wants real financial intelligence and is investing in the people who can deliver it.
Thats where you come in.
What the role looks like
Youll own monthly forecasting across revenue margins EBITDA and cash flow. Youll lead the annual budget process build the management reporting package and present financial results to senior leadership and PE stakeholders at the board level. Youll develop project-level profitability models track KPIs across backlog pipeline working capital and cash conversion and work directly with project managers on job costing change orders and revenue recognition. M and amp;A support is also part of the picture as the platform continues to grow.
The tools and dashboards you build here will be used by operations and sales leaders who currently dont have that visibility. Youll see the direct impact of your work.

What Youll Do
- Own the monthly forecasting cycle across revenue margins overhead EBITDA and cash flow
- Lead the annual budget from the ground up including detailed model builds consolidation and scenario analysis
- Dig into monthly results explain the story behind the numbers and deliver sharp reporting to senior leadership and the board
- Build project-level profitability models and dashboards that give operations leaders visibility they dont have today
- Track and interpret the KPIs that actually drive the business: labor productivity margin performance backlog pipeline working capital and cash conversion
- Sit alongside project managers on job costing change orders margin analysis and revenue recognition
- Support M and amp;A work including financial analysis due diligence and integration planning as the platform grows
- Spot process gaps drive reporting automation and strengthen the controls around how financial information flows through the business
What you bring
- 3 to 5 years in FP and amp;A or corporate finance
- Full fluency across P and amp;L balance sheet and cash flow
- Full-cycle budgeting and forecasting experience
- Advanced Excel with the ability to build models from scratch
- Experience creating dashboards and reporting tools
- Construction or manufacturing background (or comparable project-based experience)
- CPA or actively working toward it
Power BI Viewpoint ERP and exposure to M and amp;A or PE reporting are strong assets.
