Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
Process Management
Oversee the day-to-day operation and optimization of Global Anti-Base Erosion (GloBE) and Tax-Exempt Institutions (TEI) compliance
systems and other systems ensuring all reporting obligations are met accurately and on time.
Review and interpret legislative and regulatory requirements translating them into system specifications and enhancements.
Conduct comprehensive reviews of functional specifications to ensure system functionalities comply with the latest Global Anti-Base
Erosion (GloBE) and Tax-Exempt Institutions (TEI) requirements and anticipate future amendments.
Plan execute and document regression and stability testing for all production releases related to Global Anti-Base Erosion (GloBE) and
Tax-Exempt Institutions (TEI) reporting.
Lead investigations into system defects or failures coordinate cross-functional resolution efforts and verify the effectiveness of corrective
actions.
Test solutions in controlled environments and oversee their seamless deployment into production systems.
Monitor global tax regulatory developments interpret new guidance and assess their impact on existing systems and processes.
Proactively identify and drive system improvements to enhance compliance accuracy and efficiency.
Maintain and leverage critical institutional knowledge related to Global Anti-Base Erosion (GloBE) and Tax-Exempt Institutions (TEI)
compliance for future projects and audits.
Interpret and communicate work outputs and address queries within your specialization demonstrating sound situational judgment.
Independently plan and manage work schedules to drive continuous improvement in quality and service delivery.
Make informed decisions by weighing policy implications and exercising sound judgment.
Take ownership of meeting contracted deliverables maintaining agreed quality standards and customer service targets.
Foster productive relationships with peers and stakeholders to achieve set objectives.
Oversee incident inventory assignment and review incidents via the management console.
Facilitate interdepartmental communication and collaborate with internal and external partners.
Provide end-user training and education as needed.
Deliver exceptional customer service to operational teams and stakeholders.
Maintain and support both new and existing applications.
Monitor and escalate any violations of procedures or standards of conduct.
Collect and analyze data for business reporting purposes within established guidelines.
Governance
Implement and provide input into the development of governance compliance integrity and ethics processes within area of specialisation.
Ensure that completed work adheres to relevant policies procedures governance and legislative requirements and report on deviations &
discrepancies.

Qualifications and Experience:
Relevant bachelors degree / Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) in Information Technology or related field with a minimum of 5-7 years experience in Systems Analysis and Software Testing Policy and Legislative environment of which 2-3 years at functional specialist level.
OR
Senior Certificate (NQF 4) AND 10 years experience in Information Technology (Systems Analysis and Software Testing Policy and Legislative environment) of which 2-3 years at functional specialist level.
