Job Description:
The Manufacturing Engineer II Assembly is responsible for planning coordinating and executing manufacturing engineering activities for projects of moderate scope. This role focuses on improving manufacturing processes supporting product development and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficiency quality and cost-effectiveness in production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and define manufacturing methods process steps and equipment requirements
Design and support feasibility testing for engineering solutions
Assist in drafting and evaluating engineering standards and specifications
Conduct inspections and recommend improvements for process and product quality
Coordinate with suppliers contractors and internal teams
Identify process gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Support product development and manufacturing process optimization
Work within project plans to achieve production and engineering goals
Provide technical support and guidance to teams and stakeholders
Maintain compliance with safety regulatory and company standards
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field (recent graduates considered)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Knowledge in one or more areas: manufacturing quality tool design maintenance or facilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in Mechanical Electrical Hydraulic or Power Systems Engineering
Experience in manufacturing or production environments
Project management and conflict resolution skills
Experience with manufacturing software/tools (SAP AutoCAD Creo View SolidWorks)
Exposure to 3D modeling and engineering design tools
Work Environment & Additional Details:
100% onsite role in a factory/shop floor environment
50% of time spent on the production floor
Must be comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 lbs
Business casual dress code; safety boots required
Occasional movement across facility (may operate company vehicle internally)
Potential travel within a 20-mile radius using personal vehicle
