Summary:
-
Interpret prints charts sketches work instructions and other technical documents to complete assignments.
-
Use shop mathematics precision measuring tools and functional testing to verify assemblies and components.
-
Utilize tooling and equipment to assemble components into sub-assemblies or final products.
-
Verify work meets process and engineering specifications; document and report discrepancies.
-
Ensure equipment and tooling are certified and maintained; perform routine preventative maintenance.
-
Move products within the manufacturing area and support continuous product flow.
-
Train and assist other assembly personnel in assembly installation inspection and techniques.
-
Cross-train in inspection and become SIA qualified.
-
Set up and operate conventional and CNC fastening equipment (less than 3-axis).
-
Perform specialty assembly tasks such as doors integral fuel cell sealing precision bench assembly and pressure/vacuum testing.
Requirements:

Multi-layer layup and fuselage integration experience.
-
Proficiency with assembly/installation of structural components sub-assemblies and sealing processes.

Ability to work within scheduled timeframes and meet production flow requirements.

Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
