Job Summary

As a Lab Technician youll work alongside our team of consultants engineers and technicians to deliver dimensional pressure and temperature calibrations for a wide client base. This is a varied hands-on role where youll also support the wider delivery team who conduct full-scale asset testing pipeline repair and intervention projects.
What youll do:
- Conduct dimensional pressure and temperature calibrations within a UKAS accredited laboratory
- Record and validate calibration data with a high level of accuracy
- Produce calibration certificates and technical reports
- Maintain asset registers and maintenance records
- Support a wider delivery team in flow testing flow calibration and other operational activities
- Participate in safety meetings and ensure compliance with operational procedures
- Communicate effectively with technical colleagues clients and stakeholders
- Co-ordinate the collection receipt and return of client assets

Qualifications
What youll bring:
- Practical experience within an engineering laboratory or technical environment
- A technical understanding of measured results calibration principles and measurement uncertainties
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong communication skills with experience of report writing and data analysis
- Excellent organisational skills with the initiative to prioritise tasks and deliver outstanding results
- A flexible positive attitude and commitment to working safely
- The ability to adapt to changing priorities in a busy environment
- NVQ Level 3 in Engineering would be beneficial but is not essential
