As a highly valued member of the Forney TX Team this position is responsible for managing and tracking inventory levels to ensure efficient the receiving storage and shipping of goods maintain accurate records and reconcile inventory role also involves developing and implementing inventory control procedures monitoring stock levels and reporting on inventory status ensuring that all inbound and/or outbound shipments are accurate and timely.
As an Inventory Control Coordinator you will:
- Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels track inventory movement (in and out) and manage storage and organization of goods within the distribution center.
- Receive incoming shipments verify quantities against purchase orders and properly store items in designated locations.
- Ensure accurate and timely picking packing and shipping of customer orders and coordinating with other departments (e.g. logistics customer service) as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory records including receiving reports cycle counts and other relevant documentation.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
- Generate regular inventory reports analyze data and identify trends or potential issues.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory control processes increase efficiency and minimize errors.
- Follow all safety regulations and warehouse protocols ensuring a safe working environment.
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED EDUCATION EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Familiarity with inventory management software and technologies.
- Ability to analyze data identify trends and troubleshoot issues.
- Ability to maintain accurate records organize inventory and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members supervisors and other departments.
- Accurate record-keeping and attention to detail are crucial for maintaining inventory accuracy.
PREFERRED EDUCATION EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Knowledge of Manhattan WMS
