Title: User Study Coordinator
Location: Los Angeles / Culver City CA
Job type: Permanent FTE
Objective / Project Overview:
We seek User Study Coordinator to help manage the behind the scenes efforts related to setting up and running user studies. This person will be responsible for user study legal submissions; generating research consent forms; managing user study recruitment and incentive process; managing user study schedules / calendars; the production and/or procurement of user study prototypes. Additionally this person will also help identify user study lab space and help manage current Beats HF lab spaces.
Scope
An ideal User Study Coordinator candidate will be responsible for the following:
Work with the research team to prepare user study legal submissions
Generate research consent forms; distribute to participants and gather signatures
Handle all user study scheduling recruitment and participant incentives
Work with research team and partners to prepare prototypes for user study
Coordinate lab space for on-going user studies
Help manage Beats HF lab spaces
Assumptions
May be exposed to HW and SW prototypes that are considered Black
On-site training will be provided
Requirements
Expected to be in office 5 days per week
Expected to work in office between 9am to 5pm
Expected to be based in Los Angeles / Culver City
Skills
Education / Work Experience
Bachelor degree not required but nice to have
Minimum 3 years with applied experience in program management; user study coordination; or other related experience
Prefer experience in industry; technology consumer goods etc; preferably with personal electronic hardware or physical consumer goods (vs. software UX)
Hard Skills
Experience using Apple SW and HW tools
Experience with survey design tools
Experience with calendar management and other schedule related tools
Soft Skills
Strong communication skills
Not afraid of challenges
Extremely organized and detailed
Able to anticipate needs without asking
Timezone
Will work entirely in Pacific Time Zone
