Job Summary
ALUMNI AFFAIRS OFFICE
Officer Alumni Engagement ()
The incumbent will be responsible for managing and providing administrative support to events and activities that build long-term relationships with alumni.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver events and activities for the University and alumni community;
- Strengthen the affinity and engagement with alumni through regular contacts;
- Provide active support for individual alumni and alumni associations; and
- Perform other duties such as alumni giving programmes as assigned.
Requirements:
- A recognised bachelors degree with at least 5 years of solid experience in the areas of administration event management marketing and communications;
- Relevant experience in alumni affairs in higher education institutions is a definite asset. Candidates with experience in alumni giving programmes or social media management will have an advantage;
- Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Putonghua);
- Strong interpersonal analytical organisational and communication skills; and
- Attentive to details able to multitask and work under pressure independently.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit a written test and an interview.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contractof two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
