Job Summary
Position Summary
The internship role will be based at Marriotts French development offices in Paris Boulogne-Billancourt and will provide support to Marriott Internationals Hotel Development Team in France and BeNeLux. The role focuses on various elements of the development process for new hotel development projects as well as various development related special projects.
Scope
- Location: Paris
- Language Requirements: English & French fluent (spoken and written)
- Role Type: 6 Month Internship
Key Responsibilities
- Extract analyze and present market and performance data using tools such as STR Salesforce and Tableau
- Support the preparation of marketing and presentation materials related to hotel development projects across EMEA
- Assist with screening initial development project leads to assess feasibility and brand alignment
- Present analytical findings clearly and concisely for senior management decision-making both verbally and in writing
- Coordinate with internal departments to exchange information and support development activities
- Assist with deal-related activities and special projects as required
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously working independently and as part of a team
- Attend and participate in development team meetings as needed
- Support the qualification and evaluation of hotel development leads
- Interest in hotel development real estate hospitality or corporate strategy
- Comfortable building professional relationships across teams
- Demonstrates an entrepreneurial and proactive mindset

Skills & Competencies
- Fluent in English and French
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Excellent Excel and spreadsheet capabilities
- Advanced PowerPoint and presentation skills; creativity is encouraged
- High attention to detail with strong follow-through
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter and collaboratively within a team
- Effective communicator comfortable interacting with senior management
- Understanding of hotel P&L statements and/or cash flow analysis is an advantage
