Core Responsibilities
Pedagogical Excellence: Planning and delivering high-impact mastery-led lessons across KS3 & KS4 with potential opportunities to teach A-Level Mathematics or Further Maths.
Numerical Fluency: Developing students confidence in core mathematical operations ensuring a deep understanding of ratio proportion and rates of change.
Problem-Solving Leadership: Cultivating a classroom culture where students are encouraged to think abstractly and apply mathematical reasoning to non-routine problems.
Curriculum Innovation: Utilizing digital tools and manipulatives to make invisible concepts tangible integrating financial literacy and engineering contexts into the schemes of work.
Exam Mastery: Guiding GCSE cohorts through the Edexcel or AQA specifications using forensic data analysis and walking talking mocks to secure outstanding progress.
Intervention Strategy: Identifying gaps in knowledge early and providing targeted support for students of all abilities including high-prior attainers and those requiring additional numeracy support.
