Job Summary
Position Title: Salesforce Engagement Lead / Program Manager
Location: Remote (Albany NY preferred)
Estimated Hours: 260 total
Target Hourly Rate: $80-$100 per hour (fully loaded 1099 or W2)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Engagement Lead to oversee two concurrent Salesforce modernization initiativesthe Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) and Human Services Call Center (HSCC) projects. This role will serve as the key orchestrator of professional services engagements managing client relationships scope budget and project teams to ensure successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-create and support execution of comprehensive transformation strategy and roadmaps aligned with existing technology architecture
- Engage with key stakeholders including executives department heads and external partners to secure buy-in and support
- Provide regular updates and reports on progress challenges and successes to stakeholders
- Manage dependencies across Salesforce implementations to ensure smooth and predictable outcomes
- Review and support budget management to achieve program goals
- Identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Assess and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program success
- Provide guidance on periodic performance reviews and recommend strategy adjustments as needed
Required Qualifications
- 5 years leading Salesforce engagements
- Public Sector: 3 years with public sector case management solution implementation
- Certification: Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder Certification (required)
- Program Management: Proven track record managing complex multi-project initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with NYS government or other public sector agencies
- Experience with child welfare social services or call center programs
- PMP or Agile certifications
- Experience with stakeholder management at executive levels
