The VT Sports Nutrition Fellow will be a valuable part of a team of six dietitians and will have sport oversight of about four to five Olympic sport teams. This position is ideal for an RD looking to gain a 1-year experience leading the nutrition services of multiple assigned teams while gaining experience collaborating across the VT Athletic Department. RDs completing this fellowship will have a solid foundation in performance nutrition that will make them a strong candidate for any potential collegiate fulltime sports nutrition position. This position will focus on nutrition services for assigned teams as well as have an emphasis on nutrition education initiatives for our sports nutrition department. This position reports directly to the Associate AD / Sports Nutrition.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics or completion of DPD credits
Registered Dietitian or RD eligible
Sports Nutrition Experience
Ability to work a non-standard work week
Strong interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

Masters Degree
Disordered Eating counseling interest/experience
Social media management interest/experience
