Job Summary

We are currently seeking a part-time HR Coordinator to support a small experienced HR this role you will provide hands-on administrative and coordination support across the employee lifecycle helping keep HR operations running smoothly and accurately day to day.

Youll work closely with the HR Business Partner and have the backing of an established team around you. Its a great role for someone who enjoys the operational side of HR and takes pride in getting the detail right.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Managing the HR inbox and triaging day-to-day queries from managers and employees
  • Coordinating onboarding crossboarding and offboarding processes
  • Preparing employee correspondence contract variations parental leave letters return-to-work arrangements and the like
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and keeping the HR portal up to date
  • Supporting HR system administration across SmartRecruiters Simon Kineo and Glow
  • Generating HR reports and assisting with compliance reporting including WGEA
  • Providing backup support to the Payroll Manager and payroll administration as needed

Qualifications :

Youve worked in an HR support or administration role before and youre confident managing a busy inbox and juggling competing priorities. Youre organised discreet and pick things up quickly.

  • Experience in an HR Coordinator or HR Administrator role
  • Familiarity with Australian employment law and modern awards you dont need to be an expert but you know the basics
  • Strong admin skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable with HR systems and Microsoft Office
  • Good written communication and a practical can-do approach
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency with unrestricted working rights
  • A qualification in HR or a related discipline is a bonus not a requirement

This is a part time role working 24 hours per week ideally we are looking for someone to spread these hours over 5 days and we are flexible around start & finish time. This is a hybrid role which will see you working between home & our Kent street clinic.
