Youll play a key role in supporting the employee lifecycle and ensuring our HR services run smoothly and efficiently. Your work will involve both high-volume processing and stakeholder support.
Ngā Haepapa Matua Key Responsibilities (not limited too):
- Supporting recruitment processes including offer approvals and onboarding
- Providing end-to-end HR administrative support across the employee lifecycle (contracts parental leave variations secondments exits and more)
- Processing and interpreting high volumes of HR information with a strong focus on accuracy and detail
- Advising staff and managers on HR policies processes and guidelines
- Providing system support (e.g. Workday or similar) and guidance to employees and managers
- Working closely with Faculty support staff and wider HR teams
- Partnering with Payroll and other HR teams to ensure accurate employee data
- Responding to queries across multiple channels
- Building strong trusted relationships across the organization
- Contributing ideas to improve systems processes and service delivery
The role is a full-timepermanent role (37.5 hours per week)
The remuneration is $63300 - $70000 per annum dependent on skills and experience.

He kōrero mōu About you
Youll bring:
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in an HR environment
- Experience supporting the employee lifecycle and the processing of data in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence working with HR systems - experience with Workday would be advantageous (or similar large platforms)
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A good understanding of HR processes policies and guidelines
- A proactive solutions-focused mindset with a strong customer service focus and ability to manage competing priorities
- The ability to build relationships across a wide range of people
- Experience in a large or complex organisation (such as the tertiary or public sector) would be advantageous
- Familiarity with ticketing or case management systems
- Knowledge of NZ employment legislation
