Development Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Development Manager to join our this pivotal role you will lead the planning execution and optimization of development initiatives that drive organizational growth. You will work collaboratively across departments to identify opportunities implement solutions and measure impact through data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will combine visionary thinking with decisive action motivating teams while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
General Responsibility:
Development Manager is overall responsible for securing optimal JYSK store operations in the individual regions and through JYSK values and JYSK leadership to achieve all budgets and goals and implement all current concepts.
- Signing of new lease contracts and re-negotiation of existing contracts with landlords and property owners
- Moves and extensions of existing leases ensuring continuity of store operations
- Project management for all store projects including new openings relocations and renovations
- Facility management and maintenance oversight to ensure compliance with company standards
- Lease contract administration including documentation filing and record-keeping
- Lease contract controlling and budgeting to optimize costs and financial performance
- Managing current expense contracts and vendor relationships
- Conducting market analysis and identifying strategic expansion opportunities within assigned regions
- Developing and implementing regional expansion strategies aligned with organizational objectives
- Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators related to store development and lease management
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders including landlords property managers and internal teams
- Identifying and mitigating risks associated with lease agreements and store operations
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies in lease negotiations and facility management
Qualifications :
- Minimum 5 years of experience in development management expansion or lease management
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing expansion
- Strong negotiation skills and evidence on building trust-based relationships with leasers
- Strong project management skills with ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning and execution
- Experience with budget management and financial planning
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with data-driven decision-making approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence at all organizational levels
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
