Job Summary
This position reports to the Director Entity and Financial Planning & Analysis and supports key workstreams associated with AbbVies Quarterly Earnings Calls Board of Directors (BOD) & Executive Leadership Team (ELT) packages Cash Conversion Cycle (CCC) Metrics and Entity Plan. This role liaises with multiple cross-functional stakeholders within Finance and has opportunities to interact with all levels of the organization including senior leadership through the CFO.
Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of the quarterly earnings package used by AbbVie Executives / Investor Relations during earnings calls
- Assist with producing key analytics for BOD ELT Leadership Forum & other management packages
- Collaborate with Investor Relations to produce analytics that inform LBEs Quarterly Flash LRP Plan and BOD package publications
- Support Associate Director Entity Planning with entity forecast consolidation and modeling for Plan / LBE / LRP including Intercompany Reconciliations Deferred Margin analysis and Performance vs Entity reconciliation
- Compile a comprehensive monthly Executive Goal Grading Reporting Package
- Liaison with Procurement to compile a quarterly Consulting spend analysis
- Support Director Entity and Financial Planning & Analysis in driving high visibility special project(s)
- Assignment Manager for the FDP CFP&A rotation
- Ad-hoc analysis (e.g. P&L profiles Growth Metrics R&D Analytics peer comparison) as required
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting required. CPA or MBA a plus.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant finance/accounting experience preferably across a range of Finance functions.
- Strong financial analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Superior communication skills: ability to summarize complex financial analyses in a clear & concise manner.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines while balancing competing priorities.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
- Experience with BPC Power BI W-Desk a plus

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
