SUMMARY:
This position will play a vital role in our company by ensuring data integrity accurate commission applicationandpartnering with others to ensure proper revenue recognition.Additionallyyou willprovidea variety of operationalfinancialtasks and business analytics in the operations department. Must be able to accurately compute report and verify numerical data in a professional and knowledgeable manner ensuring adherence to company policies and general accounting principles.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Liaison between operations personnel and local regional and corporate accounting to ensure correct posting of revenue.
Utilize business management and document management systems to obtain needed supporting documents.
Analyze data and research variances indicating missing revenue.
Work in conjunction with Hub Financial Center (HFC) and Accounting Resource Center (ARC) to resolve posting issues.
Other duties as occasionally requested by regional finance HFC and ARC.
Gather escalated commission statements and submit them to the Carrier Management Team as requested.
Research identify and communicate key variances relating to financial and operational metrics
Provide ad-hoc financial and operational analysis to support business decisions
Research track and resolve accounting discrepancies and questions
Research and resolve Direct Bill suspense items
Communicate with client service team to resolve exceptions.
Other related duties as required or assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
Associate or bachelorsdegree in accounting finance or related field (or equivalent experience)
5years experiencefinancial experience
Advanced MS Excel skills with ability to analyze data using complex functions and pivot tables
Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High degree of accuracy with a good eye for detail
Able to work independently and proactively
