Job Summary
Position: Robotics Field Engineer (Vietnam)
Location: Hanoi Vietnam
Employment Type: Full-time (Contract)
Responsibilities
- Conduct site inspections and collect technical requirements prior to robot deployment.
- Deploy AMR solutions at customer sites (including setup mapping and commissioning).
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to SW and HW
- Configure network settings and define operational scenarios.
- Support basic integrations with PLC conveyors auto-doors and MES/API systems.
- Collect system logs and collaborate with HQ engineering for advanced problem-solving.
- Communicate directly with customers to ensure smooth Proof of Concept (PoC) and ongoing operations.
Qualifications
- Required
- Experience: 3 years in robotics automation or manufacturing equipment.
- Skills: Proven track record in field troubleshooting and technical problem-solving.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of Linux environments and networking protocols.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently within Vietnam.
- Language: Proficiency in English (working-level) for reporting and communication.
- Preferred
- Prior experience with AMR/AGV systems.
- Knowledge of PLC / I/O logic and industrial automation.
- Hands-on experience with ROS (Robot Operating System).
- Background in factory automation environments.

- Independence: Ability to stabilize robot operations on-site without constant supervision.
- Analytical Thinking: Identifying root causes rather than applying temporary band-aid fixes.
- Effective Liaison: Acting as a professional bridge between customer requirements and HQs technical capabilities.
