Job Description
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Drainage and Hydrology Lead to drive water engineering strategy and delivery across major transport and land development this role you will oversee flood modelling drainage design WSUD integration and multidisciplinary coordination to deliver resilient sustainable and compliant outcomes.
What Youll Be Doing
Lead hydrological assessments and hydraulic modelling for complex infrastructure projects
Develop stormwater management plans drainage designs and water quality solutions
Oversee modelling using TUFLOW MIKE DRAINS HECRAS or equivalent industry software
Provide discipline governance technical assurance and quality oversight
Collaborate effectively with environmental civil structural and geotechnical teams to ensure integrated design outcomes
Required Skills and Competencies
Strong background in hydrology and hydraulics ideally gained on major transport or development projects
Advanced capability in hydrological and hydraulic modelling tools and methodologies
Excellent communication leadership and stakeholder management skills
Ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences including nontechnical stakeholders
