Job Summary

Job Description:

Supervise day-to-day shop floor activities and ensure smooth production flow
Monitor production output and ensure daily/shift targets are achieved
Ensure optimum utilization of manpower machines and materials
Coordinate with maintenance team to minimize machine downtime
Quality & Compliance
Ensure adherence to quality standards and SOPs
Monitor in-process checks and reduce rejections / wastage
Maintain proper documentation and production records
Ensure compliance with safety norms and company policies
Team Management
Allocate work and manage shift-wise manpower planning
Train and guide operators for improved performance
Maintain discipline and ensure proper communication on the shop floor
Process Improvement
Identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction
Support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen 5S)
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues
Coordination
Coordinate with Quality Maintenance and Stores teams
Ensure timely availability of raw materials and resources
Escalate critical issues to Production Manager
