In this full-time maximum term role (till end of September 2026) youll work as a part of our Youth Resilience and Support Service team across Sydney* to help us create lasting change for children everywhere. *This position requires significant travel (up to 75%) throughout the Sydney metropolitan area and potentially to regional locations to reach young people in various communities and settings.

You will make a difference by:

  • Engaging young people through proactive outreach across Randwick Waverley and Southwest Sydney
  • Working within existing community networksto identify those who may benefit from additional support
  • Providing case coordination ensuring young people are connected to the right services at the right time
  • Delivering psychoeducation groups empowering young people with tools to understand and manage their wellbeing
  • Building strong relationshipswith schools youth services community organisations and families
  • Strengthening coordinated community responses helping services work together more effectively

This role requires:

  • Proven experience working with children and families in community settings to achieve measurable agreed outcomes using strengthsbased approaches
  • Strong capability engaging advocating and partnering with families to support positive change in culturally diverse communities
  • Experience delivering impact through placebased work with CALD and/or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with local services and community stakeholders to coordinate effective outcomedriven support
  • Sound knowledge of local community resources with the ability to work autonomously and drive results in dynamic environments
  • Ability to build strong relationships and community networks to deliver meaningful sustainable outcomes
  • Experience in community or youthfocused services with clear empathetic communication and strong problemsolving skills to navigate service systems and create longterm support pathways
