Job Description The Department of Marketing in the Davis College of Business and Economics at Radford University invites applications for a full-time Special Purpose faculty appointment in Marketing beginning August 2026. The position involves teaching four classes each semester and providing service at the departmental college and university levels. |
Required Qualifications A minimum of a masters degree in marketing business or a closely related discipline. Candidates with a masters degree will be considered if they possess recent sustained professional experience that is substantive in terms of level of responsibility and related to the area of teaching. Applicants must be considered a qualified instructor per AACSB accreditation requirements as well as by the standards of the Davis College of Business and Economics. This typically entails substantial experience for those with a masters degree or an active research portfolio for those with a doctoral degree. |
Preferred Qualifications: Evidence of successful instructional experience at the college level and a graduate degree from an AACSB-accredited business school is preferred. Preference will also be given to candidates with experience and interest in teaching Principles of Marketing Retailing and a variety of other marketing courses. |
