Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant - AWS Infrastructure Engineer

Seeking an experienced and highly skilled AWS Infrastructure Engineer to join our this role you will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. This role requires a hands-on individual with a proven track record of building and managing complex AWS environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in various AWS services and a strong understanding of automation principles.

Responsibilities:
Deep AWS hands-on experience specifically around EKS - running EKS in AWS as production operations
Design and implement robust and scalable AWS infrastructure solutions.
Create and manage AWS Organizations Control Tower and Security Control Policies (SCPs).
Develop and maintain API Gateways EKS clusters Step Functions workflows Lambda functions and Event Bridge event-driven architectures.
Administer and optimize Postgres databases deployed on AWS.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using AWS CDK or Terraform.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure and applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues efficiently.
Stay current with the latest AWS technologies and best practices.

Qualifications we seek in you:
Minimum qualifications
Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Extensive experience (4-6 years) in designing implementing and managing AWS cloud infrastructure
Proficiency in AWS services including but not limited to: Organizations Control Tower SCPs API Gateway EKS Step Functions Lambda EventBridge and Postgres DB.
Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as AWS CDK or Terraform.
Deep understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Certifications or credentials related to AWS (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional) are preferred.
