- Collaborate with frontend teams to define and evolve API contracts.
- Partner with AI/ML engineers to optimize model deployment and inference pipelines.
- Contribute to architecture decisions sprint planning and peer code reviews.
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests; ensure high code quality and system resilience.
- Implement observability practices including logging monitoring and error tracking.
Requirements
- 5 years of professional experience in Python backend development.
- Proven expertise in building and deploying APIs using FastAPI.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and asynchronous programming (async/await).
- Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB Redis) databases.
- Proficiency with ORMs such as SQLAlchemy or Tortoise ORM.
- Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML services or LLM platforms (e.g. OpenAI Azure OpenAI).
- Familiarity with containerization using Docker and cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP).
- Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong command of Git workflows and experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
