Summary:
The Head of Finance and Accounting is responsible for leading and managing all financial operations across the housing and mall strategic role ensures accurate financial reporting robust budgeting and compliance with regulatory standards while driving data-driven financial decision-making. The incumbent will oversee financial planning performance analysis and team leadership to enhance the organizations financial health and operational efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end financial operations including financial reporting budgeting forecasting and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards tax regulations and statutory requirements across all business units.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize profitability cash flow and cost management.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements with accuracy and timeliness.
- Guide and mentor the finance and accounting team fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with operations procurement and project management teams to align financial planning with business goals.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends risks and opportunities providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Manage relationships with external auditors banks and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure the effective use of financial systems and tools to enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in financial management preferably within real estate heavy equipment manufacturing or construction industries.
- Proven expertise in financial statements financial reporting budgeting and strategic financial planning.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and deliver strategic recommendations.
- Strong leadership experience managing finance teams and cross-functional collaboration.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance audit processes and statutory reporting requirements.
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or related field; Masters degree or CA certification is preferred.
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g. SAP Oracle Tally) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Willingness to work on-site in Guwahati.
