Position Overview
Lead capture efforts at Department of Commerce and in Emerging Accounts to meet Halviks strategic growth targets. You will be accountable for maintaining a healthy new growth pipeline for Commerce as measured by Halviks key account metrics and working with the Commerce Portfolio Lead to support recompetes and contract growth opportunities within the account. You will own the overall strategy for new growth and develop specific new business opportunities through the full opportunity life cycle up to start of execution including the development and execution of capture plans.
Core Responsibilities
- Achieve account growth targets.
- Maintain overall health of the Account pipeline in line with Halvik pipeline metrics.
- Manage pipeline revenue forecast for the account.
- Lead and organize key Halvik contributors to achieve account goals; lead through influence few (or no) direct reports.
- Act as ultimate owner of each new growth opportunity within the account accountable for the full-life cycle of opportunity activities (identification through award).
- Assign appropriate Capture Manager for every opportunity being actively pursued.
- Ensure Halvik is viewed as a strategic partner of the Account customer.
- Develop strategic partnerships as needed to further account goals.
- Maintain close working relationships with Portfolio Delivery personnel to ensure overall success of the Account.
- Remain engaged with current customers to understand issues risks successes evolving needs etc. and relay or reinforce those with delivery teams.
- Actively engage with delivery teams to ensure awareness of how work serves broader Account strategies and goals.
- Support Portfolio and Segment leads in capture efforts.
Professional Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Bachelors Degree
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in federal contracting supporting the full life cycle of opportunities from capture through final award including capture planning and execution proposal development and bid negotiations.
- Demonstrated success developing and executing account strategies and tactics to successfully grow an account.
- 10 years of experience and understanding of federal services contracting.
- 10 years of demonstrated success leading teams/and or organizations to achieve a common goal.
