Position Summary

The Finance Summer Hire applies their educational experience in a real world setting with Tacos Finance team. They assist the teams various functions by assisting with auditing budget template preparation financial modeling accounting support cash management and other special projects.

Measures of success:

Maintains accurate records for assigned tasks
Makes suggestions to improve efficiency of assigned processes
Ensured understanding of all requested tasks

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Assists accounting team as needed with month end / quarter end tasks.
Prepares financial schedules and templates for the annual budget.
Prepares and tracks departmental expense templates during budget process.
Prepares various daily reports.
Assists with systems work such as managing specific vendors to lessen workload in Accounts Payable (AP) and working on the OneStream project dimension.
Assists the accounting staff with projects as needed for Taco subsidiaries such as Hydroflo and Taco Canada.

Qualifications

Required:

Enrolled in a Bachelors degree program in Accounting or Finance
Highly motivated with a growth mindset
Excellent communication skills
No travel required

Preferred:

Currently in Junior or Senior year
Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0

Work Environment:

This position works primarily in an office environment using computers and technology. Verbal and auditory capability are required. Occasional exposure in production plant where large equipment and noise are prevalent. Safety gear is required in these areas.

This position reports into the site every day.
