Job Summary
As a business partner you will collaborate daily with Accounts Receivable Service Centers Business Finance Legal Accounting Technology Customers and other operational groups at all levels in a global environment. Your strong communication collaboration and problem-solving skills will be essential to manage multiple high-visibility priorities in a fast-paced environment where youll navigate ambiguous situations and drive effective solutions.
Key job responsibilities
- Define and develop key performance indicators operational metrics and service level agreements for programs and processes tracking delivery against global objectives
- Partner with leadership to consolidate inputs challenge assumptions on performance drivers and projections from stakeholders and maintain effective relationships between Finance Operations Service Centers and Transportation businesses
- Analyze critical data sets to trace defect areas to root causes scope future state solutions influence roadmap decisions and measure the effectiveness of implemented solutions
- Solve complex customer process and system escalations to ensure thorough root cause analysis and effective problem resolution
- Identify and quantify financial and operational risks and opportunities while recommending practices to ensure financial data integrity and compliance with internal and external policies
A day in the life
Your day begins by reviewing performance dashboards and preparing for operational reviews with global stakeholders. Youll analyze receivable collection processing metrics to identify trends and potential process improvements. Throughout the day youll collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve escalated issues participate in working sessions to develop new payables processes and communicate findings to leadership. Youll balance tactical problem-solving with strategic initiatives using your analytical skills to drive data-driven decisions while building strong partnerships across the organization.

The Finance Operations Business Partnership team works across Amazons global transportation network to ensure operational excellence in financial processes. Our team focuses on developing scalable solutions that improve efficiency reduce defects and create value for internal and external customers. - 6 years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 6 years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- 6 years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 6 years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- 5 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
- 6 years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)
- MBA or CPA
- Experience in solving business problems through machine learning data mining and statistical algorithms
- Experience delivering forecasting budgeting and variance analysis and data interpretation of results
- 6 years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
