Job Summary
SUMMARY
Reporting to the VP Capital Accounting the Manager Fixed Assets Capital Accounting is responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of the companys fixed and intangible. This includes recording acquisitions calculating depreciation and processing disposals. assets and depreciation & amortization for the company.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the VP Capital Accounting the Manager Fixed Assets Capital Accounting is responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of fixed assets and depreciation & amortization for the company. Duties include but are not limited to:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the VP Capital Accounting the Manager Fixed Assets Capital Accounting is responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of fixed assets and depreciation & amortization for the company. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Record fixed asset additions and acquisitions in the Fixed Asset Manager subledger.
- Review existing assets for any disposition write offs and retirements.
- Calculate and post monthly depreciation / amortization.
- Prepare budget and forecast schedules for all depreciation & amortization accounts.
- Prepare monthly reconciliation of Fixed Asset Manager submodule to general ledger.
- Prepare support schedules for internal & external audit requests and SOX compliance requests.
- Prepare fixed asset roll forward schedules.
- Maintain and ensure compliance with SOX documentation and internal controls.
- Prepare quarterly and annual schedules supporting 10-Q and 10-K disclosures.
- Participate in or lead ad-hoc projects as requested.
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university preferably majoring in Accounting
- Expert Excel user Experience includes working with Macros index match and xlookup to start
- 5 years experience with increasing responsibilities
- Experience in multi-entity / multi-facility environment
- Detail oriented with strong written and oral communication skills
- Deadline and project oriented
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task efficiently
- Ability to work some overtime
- Limited travel
- Team and goal oriented with a curiosity to learn and develop new skills Hybrid Work Schedule
