Job Summary
Preferred Care at Home of East Tennessee is seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to join our team in South Knoxville. This role involves providing in-home care and support to clients helping them maintain their independence and quality of life in a safe and caring environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing dressing grooming and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and support to enhance emotional and social well-being.
- Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry and cleaning.
- Help clients with medication reminders and transportation to appointments as needed.
- Monitor and report any changes in the clients condition to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment in the clients home.
Requirements
- Genuine passion for helping others and providing quality care.
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work independently.
- Reliable transportation to and from client homes.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate client needs.
- Pass background check and drug screening as required.
