WTW is seeking a Facultative Reinsurance Broker to join our Natural Resources practice in London. Youll work with major energy and mining clients design and lead facultative placements and negotiate with London and international markets to deliver innovative risk-transfer solutions.
The Role
Lead facultative placements for complex Natural Resources risks.
Advise clients on reinsurance structures market trends and strategic options.
Negotiate terms with underwriters across global markets.
Collaborate with Risk Actuarial and Claims specialists to deliver integrated solutions.
Support reporting presentations and portfolio insights for clients.
Mentor junior brokers and contribute to a highperformance team culture.
Qualifications
What youll bring:
Experience in facultative reinsurance broking or underwriting within energy natural resources or large industrial sectors.
Strong negotiation analytical and clientrelationship skills.
Ability to manage multiple complex accounts and deadlines.
Degree in Business/ Finance and/or Economics; ACII beneficial.
Regulatory & Conduct Requirements This role is subject to the UK Financial Conduct Authoritys Senior Managers & Certification Regime (SMCR) and has been designated as a Conduct Rules role. The successful candidate will be required to comply with the FCA Conduct Rules complete mandatory Conduct Rules training and maintain the standards of integrity professionalism and customer focus expected of colleagues at WTW including acting to deliver good outcomes for clients in line with regulatory and Consumer Duty requirements.
