Job Summary
Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
o Manage and maintain Google Cloud Platform (GCP) resources including
Compute Engine Kubernetes Engine Cloud Storage Cloud Functions and
more.
o Implement and maintain cloud architectures and services aligned with best
practices and organizational needs.
o Monitor cloud performance optimize resource usage and implement cost
management strategies for GCP services.
Compliance:
o Ensure cloud security by managing IAM roles policies and setting up
auditing mechanisms.
o Regularly audit the cloud environment to ensure compliance with internal and
industry standards (e.g. GDPR HIPAA).
o Implement cloud security controls including encryption network security
and firewall configuration.
Scripting:
o Develop and maintain automation scripts for GCP resource provisioning
monitoring and scaling (using tools such as Terraform Cloud Deployment
Manager etc.).
o Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment of cloud
infrastructure.
Support:
o Provide ongoing support for GCP environments diagnosing and resolving
issues as they arise.
o Collaborate with engineering teams to address complex system issues and
implement system enhancements.
