Eminent Domain Of Counsel
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and driven attorney with 7 years of litigation experience to join our Trial and Litigation Practice Group with a focus on eminent domain matters. This position is available across multiple California offices.
In this role you will play a key part in managing complex litigation matters from inception through trial and appeal. You will work closely with a collaborative team while also taking ownership of critical aspects of case strategy development and execution.

Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all phases of litigation including pleadings discovery motion practice trial preparation and appeals
- Draft and argue substantive motions including dispositive motions
- Build and develop cases for trial including evidence gathering and strategy development
- Conduct and defend depositions and witness interviews
- Collaborate with internal teams and contribute to case strategy
- Support clients on complex land acquisition and public infrastructure matters
Key Qualifications:
- 7 years of litigation experience
- Strong experience with law and motion practice including dispositive motions
- Proven ability to build and prepare cases for trial
- Experience taking and defending depositions and working with witnesses
- Excellent academic credentials
- Exceptional research writing and analytical skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Interest in contributing to the firms growth and reputation
Eminent domain or real estate experience is preferred but not required.
