Job Description

Skill: Playwright Automation Tester

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:

Proficiency in API testing tools such as PlayWright Postman SoapUI or similar.
Familiarity with programming languages like Java Python or JavaScript for test script development.
Knowledge of automated testing frameworks (e.g. Playwright RestAssured Selenium for integration with UI testing).

Roles & Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Design: Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for APIs covering functional performance security and reliability aspects.
Test Execution: Execute manual and automated API tests using various tools and frameworks.
Defect Management: Identify document and track defects found during testing collaborating with development teams for resolution.
Collaboration: Work closely with developers QA engineers and other stakeholders to understand API specifications and ensure test coverage.
Automation: Design develop and maintain automated test scripts for APIs to improve efficiency and regression testing capabilities.
Reporting: Analyze test results and provide clear concise reports on API quality and performance.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving debugging and analytical abilities to identify and diagnose API issues.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with teams and documenting findings.
