Description for Pallet Repair Technician:
- Inspect damaged wooden pallets and efficiently identify structural component defects.
- Rebuild and restore pallets to exact grade specifications using pneumatic nail guns and power saws.
- Meet or exceed daily high-volume facility production quotas (254 pallets per day baseline).
- Sort grade stack and stage finished structural components across active warehouse zones.
- Perform routine safety checks on assigned pneumatic tools and follow strict plant safety rules.
Details for Pallet Repair Technician:
- Pay Rate:$19.00/hour during initial training Transitions to $0.54 per pallet (Uncapped Piece Rate) once output goals are met.
- Schedule: Monday Friday 6:00 AM 3:00 PM (Finish times vary based on personal productivity).
- Location: Algona WA.
Requirements for Pallet Repair Technician:
- Prior verifiable experience working as a Pallet Repair Technician Pallet Builder or in industrial wood assembly required.
- Proven speed and proficiency utilizing pneumatic nail guns tear-down bars and commercial saws.
- Physical capability to handle heavy manual labor including consistently lifting 5075 lbs all shift.
- Goal-driven work ethic with the capability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or GED required; ability to wear standard required PPE daily.
