Job Summary:
The Business Development Supervisor is tasked with overseeing the business development teams efforts to expand the companys market share and increase revenue. This role requires a combination of leadership strategic planning and operational management skills.
Responsibilities:
Leadership: Direct and supervise the business development team setting goals and providing guidance and support.
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute business strategies that align with the companys long-term vision.
Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities.
Client Relationships: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients while identifying and pursuing potential new clients.
Performance Monitoring: Track team performance against targets and implement strategies to improve results.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to business growth.
Team Management:
Understand team dynamics and effective management practices. Supervisors should be adept at balancing individual tasks with overseeing team performance.
Conflict Resolution: Ability to address conflicts within the team professionally and constructively.
Motivational Skills: Inspire and motivate team members to achieve their best.
Adaptability:
Supervisors often encounter changing priorities and unexpected challenges. Being adaptable and flexible is crucial.
Decision Making: Make informed decisions based on organizational goals and guidelines.

Qualifications:
A bachelors degree in business economics finance or a related field with at least 4 years experience with at least 1 year experience as a people manager or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories principles and concepts.
Proven experience in business development with a track record of achieving growth targets.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in CRM systems and data analysis tools.
