Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer (Expert) to support a high-performance computing environment focused on CAD and engineering services.
The role involves managing automation cloud infrastructure and system stability across a complex enterprise environment. You will play a key role in designing implementing and maintaining scalable infrastructure solutions while ensuring high availability performance and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and automation solutions
- Manage and operate Ansible Automation Platform (Tower/AWX)
- Deploy and manage workloads on AWS and Azure
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Perform Linux system administration and lifecycle management
- Manage version control using GitHub and branching strategies
- Monitor system performance and ensure stability scalability and cost optimization
- Maintain accurate documentation and knowledge base content
- Manage incident problem and change processes (ITSM)
- Collaborate with stakeholders and support automation adoption
- Coordinate external contractors and support operational meetings
- Ensure compliance with security standards and manage vulnerabilities
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members
Requirements
Essential Skills
- Strong experience with Ansible Core & Automation Platform
- Strong knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud platforms
- Expertise in Linux (RHEL Ubuntu SLES)
- Experience with Terraform (IaC)
- Proficiency in GitHub / version control systems
- Strong scripting skills (Bash Python Perl)
- Knowledge of network protocols (NFS CIFS SSH DNS NTP)
- Experience with storage and mounting technologies (Autofs DFS)
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Experience with Jira and Confluence

Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Information Systems or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Ansible Automation Platform
- Linux systems
- Cloud platforms (AWS Azure)
- Terraform (IaC)
- Experience with GitOps practices
- Relevant certifications (advantageous):
- RHCSA / RHCE
- Ansible certifications
