Job Summary
We are seeking an Operations Engineer (Expert) to support a globally distributed authentication platform. This role focuses on delivering secure scalable identity and access management solutions across cloud and on-premise environments. You will work within a global team to operate enhance and secure a modern authentication ecosystem while continuously improving processes and driving innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support global identity platforms including Active Directory and Entra ID environments.
- Ensure high availability scalability and security of authentication systems.
- Design and implement modern identity and security solutions aligned with Zero Trust principles.
- Automate infrastructure and operational processes using Infrastructure as Code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across distributed systems.
- Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement innovation and adoption of new technologies.
- Provide guidance and leadership to junior team members when required.
Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT including managing large cloud or hybrid environments.
- At least 3 years experience with Microsoft enterprise IT architectures focusing on Identity & Access Management.
- Expert knowledge of:
- Microsoft Entra ID Entra ID Connect and Active Directory
- Authentication protocols (Kerberos SAML OAuth/OIDC)
- Strong understanding of Zero Trust architecture and security concepts.
- Experience with network protocols (IPv4 IPv6 DNS).
- Proficiency in automation using tools such as PowerShell and Azure Functions.
- Ability to solve complex problems and work independently on escalated tasks.
Advantageous Skills
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments.

Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science Communications Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
