Job Summary
A well-established engineering consultancys Metals team in Johannesburg is seeking a Senior Process Engineer with deep pyrometallurgical expertise. Working across local and global projects you will lead process engineering from Concept Study through to Detailed Engineering and operational support contributing your technical knowledge to some of the industrys most complex and rewarding challenges.
Requirements:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering Metallurgy Chemistry or a relevant discipline
- 8 years process engineering experience in operations and/or engineering consultancy
- Strong focus on pyrometallurgical processes base metals PGMs ironmaking and/or ilmenite preferred preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead studies and act as a senior technical resource
- Knowledge of global pyrometallurgical process plants key industry players and sector challenges
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage client relationships
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Valid drivers license
- Own reliable transport
