Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design implement and maintain high-availability Linux-based systems supporting critical production environments. The role focuses on delivering secure resilient and scalable infrastructure solutions across on-premise and cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Install configure and maintain Unix/Linux servers (SUSE RHEL Ubuntu)
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure issues
- Apply system updates patches and security fixes
- Manage and support high availability environments (e.g. Veritas Infoscale)
- Deploy and operate workloads on AWS and Azure
- Maintain system and operational documentation
- Ensure compliance with security standards and internal policies
- Manage Incident Problem and Change processes (ITSM)
- Track and update tasks and user stories (e.g. Jira)
- Support system stability and operational standards
- Participate in operational meetings and team coordination
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Participate in standby and weekend support when required
Requirements
Essential Skills
- Strong experience with Unix/Linux (especially SUSE)
- Proficiency in scripting (Bash Python Perl)
- Experience with High Availability systems (e.g. Veritas Infoscale)
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g. Nagios Grafana)
- Understanding of networking (DNS DHCP TCP/IP SSH)
- Basic knowledge of Oracle and SAP environments

- Containerization (Docker Kubernetes OpenShift Podman)
- Monitoring & analytics tools (Dynatrace Splunk)
- Windows Server knowledge
- Agile methodologies

Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in IT operations
- Minimum 5 years experience in configuration management & automation
- Strong scripting and automation experience (Bash PowerShell)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure)
- Version control experience (GitHub)
Nice to have:
- Linux certifications (e.g. RHCSA)
- Ansible / RHCE certifications
- Experience with Dynatrace ServiceNow Red Hat Satellite
