Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated CAD Operator to join an Electrical & Instrumentation team.
You will be responsible for creating accurate high-quality technical drawings and plans based on designs from engineers and designers.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed technical drawings for Electrical & Instrumentation projects including panels wiring diagrams schematics earthing layouts and lighting layouts
Revise drawings and markups and track engineering/design changes
Ensure compliance with drafting and engineering standards
Maintain high accuracy and quality in all drawing work
Work effectively under pressure within fast-paced projects
Requirements:
Matric and/or relevant tertiary qualification
Minimum 1 year experience as an Electrical CAD Operator
Proficient in AutoCAD 2D; 3D AutoCAD / Revit experience is beneficial
Strong organizational time management and decision-making skills
Self-driven accountable and willing to learn new skills
