EOP: Secunda Operations
Secunda Mpumalanga
A Process Artisan operates process equipment systems and processes for a specific plant / unit within the Sasol environment to achieve production requirements in a safe manner.
- Conduct basic first line fault finding
- Carry out all tasks as allocated by Foreman
- Carry out plant inspections and take logs
- Knowledge of Work Management system
- Knowledge of permit to work system
- Report all at risk behaviors and unsafe conditions to the Foreman and / or SHE rep
- Adhere to all safety regulations and approved work standards
- Prepared to be called out when on standby depending on plant requirements.
- Provides adequate feedback to supervisor on work progress
- Participates in risk assessments according to legislation and company requirements to improve safety
- Maintains good housekeeping and adheres to waste disposal procedures
- Work Independently
- Understand and know the business drives and KPIs
- Apply and maintain safety in a working environment
- Conducts IMS inspections to maintain and improve plant sustainability
- Work effectively in a team
- Play an appropriate main role during emergency situations to get the plant back online
- Give and receive feedback to other disciplines (partners on daily issues
- Gives input at toolbox talks to improve plant safety.
Matric or N3 with Pure maths English and Physical Science
NQF 4 Chemical Operations
- 4 relevant years of experience
- Experience in plant operations with Panel operation .
