The company provides Educational Technology solutions specifically focusing on Coding and Robotics. They operate within the South African education space working with Private and Model C schools.
The Role: Educational Technology Sales Consultant
The purpose of this role is to act as an industry insider to grow and maintain the companys presence in schools. The role exists to aggressively develop new business while providing dedicated account management to existing school clients. The main focus areas include conducting high-level demonstrations to decision-makers and utilizing AI platforms to enhance workspace efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage a proven track record of selling directly into South African Private and Model C schools.
- Bring in new business and aggressively grow accounts through cold calling and opening doors.
- Nurture and maintain strong relationships with existing school clients.
- Conduct high-level demonstrations and presentations to School Heads SGBs and senior leadership.
- Utilize AI tools and platforms to streamline sales processes reporting and productivity.
- Navigate the school decision-making process to close complex EdTech solutions.
- Meet and exceed sales figures through a self-motivated and target-driven approach.
- Maintain professional verbal and written communication and consistent follow-through.
About You
- Proven experience selling into schools preferably with coding and robotics or EdTech solutions.
- Ability to leverage an existing network and bring current or previous clients and leads on board.
- Proficient in using AI platforms to enhance efficiency in the workspace.
- Based in Johannesburg with a valid drivers license and own transport for school visits.
- Skilled in cold calling strategic sales and high-level presentations.
- Energetic self-motivated and target-driven.
- Prior experience specifically with Coding and Robotics solutions is highly preferred.
